Tray roasted scottish langoustines with lemon garlic butter and parsley.
Langoustines are a small member of the lobster family, they are more often treated—in culinary terms—as a large shrimp or prawn. Unlike shrimps or prawns, langoustines have more of an elegant, sweet and delicate taste. Possibly even better than lobsters 🤷🏻♀️😌🤤😋
The way I like preparing them is by cutting them in half lengthwise, cleaning out whats in the head area with a kitchen towel.
Preheat oven to 250C. Then lay them on a tray and prep with lemon garlic parsley butter, sprinkle some salt, pepper and chilli flakes and stick it in the oven on the top most shelf for about 5 to 6 mins or lesser depending on their size.
If you love seafood, These are such a treat! I serve them just as is or sometimes with roast veggies on the side.
